Primary

The primary program consists of classroom communities of children ages 3 to 6 years old.  It is designed to recognize each child's natural love of order, independent work, concentration and self-discipline.  These characteristics require a carefully prepared environment and highly trained teachers who guide the children through exploration and learning.  It is an important task to provide students with an early sense of order, pride in the physical environment, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility toward other members of the class, school, and community.

The period from 3 - 6 years is the most important for laying the foundation for all future development.  The primary classroom provides experience-based activities in practical life, language development, sensorial exploration, mathematics, science, geography, physical education, art, music, cooking, sign language, and Spanish.  The primary outdoor environment is an extension of the classroom where students can learn through gardening and exploring nature.
