How do we begin the admissions process?
The first step is to schedule a tour of Salem Montessori School. Visiting our campus allows you to experience our classrooms, meet our faculty, and see if our community is the right fit for your family. After your tour, you’ll be invited to complete an inquiry form, and our faculty will contact you within 10 business days with the next steps.
Do you offer virtual tours?
Yes. If you are unable to join us in person, we are happy to provide a virtual tour of our campus and classrooms.
When can I apply?
After your tour, we’ll send you an application. Once it’s completed, your child will be placed in the next available opening on the waitlist for their age group.
How does enrollment work?
When a space becomes available, we’ll send you an enrollment packet. Admission is finalized once the packet is completed in its entirety.
How long does the process usually take?
The timeline can vary depending on availability in each age group. Some families are able to enroll quickly, while others may spend time on our waitlist. We keep you updated every step of the way.
What ages do you accept?
We welcome children from 6 weeks through middle school (about age 14), with programs designed to meet the needs of each developmental stage.
Do families need prior Montessori experience?
Not at all. Many of our families are new to Montessori. We’ll help you understand the philosophy and how it supports your child’s growth.
